KEEP IN TOUCH

If you would like to be kept up to date about forthcoming Music In Dumfries events, please go to our ‘Contact Us’ page and ask to be added to our email list.  You’ll get a reminder of each concert two weeks in advance, and again a day or two in advance.  We’ll also send information about any social events that are planned.  Nobody likes spam, so we try to keep these emails to a minimum.  And rest assured, your details won’t be passed on to third parties.

ABOUT US

We organise annually a season of six or more high quality concerts, usually between September and March, with varied programmes of chamber music featuring musicians of the highest calibre. Recent performers have included Tasmin Little, Sean Shibe, Catriona Morison (2017 Cardiff Singer of the World) with Malcolm Martineau, the Maxwell Quartet, the Brodsky Quartet, Florilegium, Bojan Čičić and the Colin Currie Quartet. Extra concerts outwith the subscription series are also sometimes promoted.

A new season of eight concerts starting in September 2026 has been planned and full details are now available.

It is possible to buy a subscription for the first seven concerts in the season for £80, or to buy tickets for individual concerts (£18). Buying a season subscription could save you as much as £46 if you attend all seven concerts.

Please note that The Nicky Spence season finale concert is not included in the subscription offer.

In addition to concerts we organise a number of social and fundraising activities throughout the year.

Music in Dumfries is a registered charity and is run by a group of volunteers who act as Trustees.
